Nice vid do you think it will work for kokanee salmon .also how deep are you trolling that.
thanks man. I might go there sometime this week half moon bay has always been my favorite area..
Salmon is closed all year at Half Moon Bay.
Rockfish opens May 1 of this year…….Bill
On this video it was anchovy
FBR™ can be rigged with anchovy or herring as well as many other types of bait fish……small FBR fits bait 4.5 to 7 inches and bigger herring size FBR™ fits 7-9.5 in bait.
I went to half moon bay couple days ago when it was sunny and hot. I was at the pier where there’s like rocky pathway and I heard there’s a salmon there. Is that true? if yes, then what’s the best time to fish there?

Thank you so much! I really like to talk about fishing with others and learning new skills!
The fish set the hook as when it bites with the boat moving causes the strike to happens…Regarding camera for underwater…There are several underwater camera used for trolling..Suggest do a Goggle search. The camera works with all species such as salmon ,trout halibut and any species where you troll using downriggers.
Wow, it’d be nice to always see whats goin on with your lure down there in the water, it would really liven things up to see whats goin on down there cuz sometimes you have to wait for hours to even get a bite when the fishin’ is slow. I have a few question: Did you set the hook after it bit? Where can I buy a camera like that? Does it only work with trolling for salmon?
This video was shot with a Splash cam under water video camera trolled behind downrigger wire at approximately 30 feet from Half Moon Bay California. The camera lead was fed into a Sony 280 camcorder camera where is was later transferred to a Sony 512 camcorder and then processed with a Imac computer using Final Cut Express. The footage was shot by Bob Franko aboard the Fishin Machine…Thanks for your question and I’m glad you enjoyed the footages.
