Frank’s Fly Arts – Columbia’s #1 Fly Fishing Outfitter!
Come enjoy a day of kayaking the Saluda, Broad, and Congaree Rivers and let guide Michael Frank lead you to some of the best and most unique fly fishing the Southeast has to offer. Catch trout, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, and striped bass all in one trip using Mike’s own hand-tied fly patterns – all proven to catch the big ones during his 20+ years of fly fishing experience fishing up and down the East Coast. Beginners will learn how to cast with a free lesson before each trip as well as how to find and approach fish and present different kinds ot flies to the fish convincingly to entice them to strike. These waters are well known for large striped bass and nice smallmouth year round as well as good numbers of rainbow and brown trout during the colder months, so experienced and novice fishermen alike will have a blast! Guided trips include use of boats, waders, all tackle, a box of two dozen hand tied flies that each fisherman can take home after the trip, and digital photography of your catch. In town on vacation and you want to eat your catch? Ask about our partnership with a local gourmet restaurant where the head chef will prepare your catch as the main course! So bring your favorite hat, sunglasses, snacks, and a sense of adventure – we’ll supply the rest!

Good job very nicely done champ
i really like the intros in your videos
dude your intro is sick, your vids are awesome as well, they help me alot. and dont listen to these gus sayin g big bass wont hit small lures! haven’t they ever heard the expression “elephants eat peanuts?”
@1smunk981 well if your getting them, you need to let go of your line at about 1 o clock, and when the lure is in the air, kepp light tension on the spool with your thumb, not too much, just enough to keep the spool from overriding itself. if you’re a beginner, i suggest as soon as the lure hits the water, turn the crank to lock the reel in place. this should solve most of your problems if it doesn’t comment back and ill make a video about it. hope this helped!
Tight lines and screamin drags
Thanks
great vid!
hey man ur videos are gettin better good job
im goin to subscribe
I’m getting a lot of backlash on my baitcaster do u have any tips for begginer baitcasters
what are you sponsored by old dog baits???
no,,,,,,the females are up here in ohio.

@FishboiFishboi Berkley Shocks are pretty nice including Abu Garcia Vendetta, both great rods for a cheap price
yeah so true man big bass WILL hit smaller lures. last week water temp was around 50? i caught a 3lber on a 2in gulp minnow weightless. good stuff but i like jigs better. oh yeah man one more thing, i was wondering if i were to get a set of a baitcasting rod what would you recommend? ive used spinning rods all my life so i dont have any clue..
@Claytron84420 TRY IT WHIT A JACKALL WACKY JIG HEAD HOCK IT EVEN BETER CAUSE IT HELPS U KEEP THE BAIT IN THE SAME SPOT AND U JUST WORK IT UP AND DOWN GIVEING YOU AND EVEN BETTER PRESENTATION
The wacky worm is were its at for stubburn fish with watermelon red gulp worm no sinker
Great video. You are going to have a fishing show when you are older. Keep it up.
@j0j0barz33 ya i live in florida and usually in spring we go to bigger baits cuz the females are up. But i guess u live up north so that is a pretty good way of catching them.
@Bassaholics123 its about 40oF and we just had snow yesterday..so I think I’m doing pretty good..
in the spring time is the one time of year u want to go to bigger baits cuz thats when the females are up. im sry but this is the exact opposite u want to do in the spring, unless its cold then this would be the perfect tactic.
@drummer5o I would suggest sticking with a baitcasting rod…The guides on a spin reel will screw up the winds with your reel…ther just to big, but you can try it!
I know that a spinning and baitcasting rods are different, but what would be bad if you put a baitcaster on a spinning rod?
@akwalung Thanks! I working towards it!!
your vids are lookin better, your doing a great job!
good luck
@pyxiefrog124 thanks! I really appreciate..the thing that’s going to get me to hit big is you guys viewing! It helps
