I guess so but they preferr the bony bream and gudgen’s
also
will bass eat a poddie mullet??
great advice
i caught my first and second bass on the boney bream colour spinnerbait in the 1/4oz they are realy effective lures.
Thanks heaps for the advice steve.
The weight will depend of the depth of water your fishing. If your in 8 to 10 foot go 1/4oz but if 15 3/8oz and 30 foot go 5/8oz
Great Stuff Steve
Took your advice & landed my first bass on a spinner bait!!!
How do you know what size & weight spinner bait to use?
Yeah poppers are a exciting way to fish forAustralian bass
i caught my first bass on a popper. glad i found you. i love fishing… Bernie.
Love the videos, Dave. Thanks for posting them. If you get bored, feel free to check out some of my fishing episodes and other stuff.
I wish you the best of luck Down Under.
wayy too much line on that one, Im sure it casts fine, but it usually only needs like 100 yds on it
Dude I have the same rod and the newer fevesion of that reel I just got it today i’m scared to use it for backlash
That the KVD 2010 baitcaster?
LETS PUT ANOTHER SHRIMP ON THE BARBIE!!!!! hahaha. i just had to
very informative
Yes you sure can, good luck and tight lines.
can you use a graphite pole for catfish
Yes you sure do if there is a differance in weights, if there the same round about weights you get away with early feathering the spool.
now do you have to adjust your spool tension after putting different lures on?!?!?!?!
Check the magnetic backlash adjustment is turn right down and adjust center fiction spool knob until lure drops, keep adjusting until lure drops.
Depends on the knot you tie as some will snap the mono. I try not to use mono as it’s way to soft for braid and only use flurocarbon as it alot harder. Try a albright knot as this may not snap the line.
right out of the box, i bass about 3 times a week. idk what happened
the gears stripped? did you buy it out of box? what did you use it for?
pflueger makes good reel but i bought the echelon and it lasted 1 day, not kidding, gears stripped.
if its tuned right you wont get backlashes at all, i’ve been using them for about a year and i dont get birdnests often at all
look at the manual…..
mine doesn’t seem to want to drop unless i back off the drag and then adjust the little knob
——————————————————————————–
when i cast my bait caster the line breaks when the lure is about ten feet away. this only happens 1 out of ten times. does anyone know why this happens? Also does it matter if the line isn’t 1/8th from the top of the spool? also how much mono do i put on before the braid? thanks for your answers.. also does the little friction knob have to be turned in for the line to drop or out?
they arent hard bur not easy. u have to tune them in and if its not tuned good it will backlash easy and you also have to use ur thumb to prevent backlash.
Quantum
goood reel i have the same one
Pflueger Echelon
hi
with baitcasters are they esey to use at all like can you get a lot of birds nests at all?
Fleuger echelon baitcaster reeland Shakespeare Cateva rod.I guess I’ve been sportsfishing for 20 years, yeah I’d love to give the big time a go one day.
what is that? the bass pro shops tourney special? if not, you sound like you know what your talking about, so what brand of rod and reel would you recomend?
