Yeah, I hear ya. My dad likes fishing just to fish, even if he loses in the tournaments. Comes back sunburned most of the time, cause he’s been out all day fishing. Just for fun. But people still do fish to feed themselves. I had me some catfish, it was good.

true story when i was a kid my dad had won a bass tournament and mounted his big fish, a few years later my mom was fishing on the bank in a small creek , just leaning how to use a spinner bait and caught a bass almost twice the size of his . needless to say he didn’t like it .so don’t feel bad Jeff , it happens.
