This is how a big stripper should moving even after its tired out after a long fight. Unlike the some other video of some stupid fools pretending to catch a dead 40 lb stripper out of the aqueduct. This is a nice catch!

  • chaguy:

oct. 8… wat u think he was using…shads….

  • mrgc8:

One more thing ……. These fools are probably using jumbo minnows or live bluegills as bait….and that’s a fact

  • mrgc8:

    @azen2004

  • TheUrbanOutdoors:

  • mouaclan57:

@kevingbrightwell1 the aquaduct is always slow..just gotta have patience..but chicken liver and pile worms work best for me

  • Methos713:

no life jacket when you went to grab the fish…damn, imagine if you fell or rolled into the water…that fish’s family will be eating you for dinner. Props for catching such a big fish though. Hopefully next time you have a vest or floatation device…never know when you’ll need it.

  • kojlubpusse:

how do you hook a pile worm alive and or fake

  • mrfish40:

What a little peanut! couldnt have been over 35lbs! n n nice

  • nipzilla:

being from northern cali and fishing here regularly, i think the bait he used is probably one of the following:
    1. sardine
    2. pileworm
    3. grass shrimp
    4. bloodworm
    5. mudsucker
    6. eel
    7. baby salmon (poached from the sacramento river and big ticket fine [in addition to having left nut removed and hung to dry by Fish and Games])

A fantastic baitcast reel and rod combo for a beginner is a Shakespeare XTERRA it has a magnetic braking system for people that are just learning to cast .. set that baby to 10 and you can sling that rod all day without backlashing once … its 30 bucks at wal mart .. GO GET IT !!!!

@liv4daoutdoors nice man, were at? Kankakee?

  • j0j0barz33:

@drummer5o Don’t buy something over $100 even though it may work better you need to focus on the basics and if you dont like the baitcast your not spending a TON of money on it

  • drummer5o:

sould i start on a ok reel or go to a good or great one

  • pikefisherman3:

could you do a video on how you package and make up your bait bags for old dogs baits. excelers and quantums make that screeching sound too, ever few casts, yeah. is that a gareau baits paddletail. i love those.liked

Hey I cant seem to catch the early spring bass that often. I was just wondering what you were fishing with when you caught them. Thanks

  • pyxiefrog124:

@Rob13y it has more gears making it stronger and it can cast very accurate and hold heavy line

  • Rob13y:

so what are some things that the baitcast can do that the spinning cant? i didnt realy catch what you ment

  • TheCrickHicks:
