Mike’s Big Striper

My buddy Mike tangled with this 45-inch, 30-pound striped bass while we were fishing with Capt. Mike Warecke (www.ctfishsaltwater.com) along the Connecticut shoreline. We fished 10w Thomas & Thomas rods with full sink line and Mike’s Magic Minnows streamer flies.

sure, of course there are bigger stripers caught every day in the north east, but this one was caught on a fly! Props
yea this guy did a great job im only 13 and reelin in a 38 incher on a big troolin rod was togh enough this guy on a fly rod INSANE
in kentucky i just pulled out a 52inch and weight was like 41 pounds.
