A couple of years ago they tore this dam out. You can barley even catch fish like that in this spot anymore. Check out my video titled “Joe’s Most Powerful video” to see how it looks now.

It’s funny how the same specie of fish will differ in other parts of the country. A smallie that size might be a 7-9 year old fish in the Olentangy River where this was filmed in Delaware, Ohio. In another area of the country he may only be 2-3 years old. Things vary considerably but, the important thing is that we both enjoy the sport of fishing.

nice lil one up by vermillion minnesota i catch 4 to 5 lb smallmouth they will pull your rod out of your hands no lie they can snap medium action rod
i caught a bigger one on lake vermilion it was huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ii live in the uk scotland and i fish but i cant fish with a fly on a spining rod but i don it and a cout a one and a half lbs sea trout i no that that looks small but it is the biggest av ever cout can u give me any tips on how to cach that big one av bin looking for

Ive fished the Canada side of Lake Erie and I catch some big ones there but, lately I’ve been working hard on saving some of our fishing spots in Ohio. good smallmouth. i never hooked a smallie that big. my biggest one was only about ten inches. im a largemouth bass fisher and my biggest one was 18 inches 5 pounds. still nice smallmouth.

these guide are fucken gay…they wont let u fish on ur own, if a strip hit a rod the guide will set the hook and then get it to u
they definitely are with a guide. no doubt. i just have no desire to let someone fish for me basically and then ‘let’ me wind the fish in after the strike. Especially with live bet. No challenge at all, the stripes are supposed to eat those shad/herring. Not fooling them at all. I’ve always been an artificial tackle fisherman and always will be. Those things would probably have hit a spook or swimbait just as good and its more active fishing. Piss on live bait.
from the way it looks you only had 3 fish in the ice chest .and then at the end of the video you added another that makes 4.and it looks like you were with a guide.. if you cant catch them on your own you dont need to be fishing. i have gotten my limit on those hybrids on hartwell for. lots of days. we quit fishing for them because we ran out of people to give them to. cause trust me they aint that good to eat.
