@13mudpuppy hog fish and hog snapper. they are in the wrasse and snapper family. and it is at least 16 inches if u have ever seen a fish that big.

If nurse shark gets too close again, take your spear and poke it. that scares away most sharks for me.

We always called them hog snapper. They are in my opinion the best tasting broiled fish there is. Garlic, butter, salt and pepper, man oh man thats good fish. Nice catch there duane.
of course their edible and they taste so good plus pole spearing is super fun
