what color do you like and is a 4 inch okay? my local tackle shop only has 4 inch and black with no fleks

NO try the three inch and you will know what i’m talking about, ……………i got a l. m. bass sunday 5lb 10 oz and a 4lb 8oz on a three inch sunday. They really work!!!!!

yeah but when yoiu do this you dont have to spend money on weights

Yes just slip the weight on your line then tie the hook on the line. and you are set for some good bass acction.

Large mouth bass love wacky rigged senkos. But remember what makes the wacky rig so great is when you shake the bait is sends out some great sound vibration the bass will move to. I got two 5 pound bass one day last week fishing wacky senkos.

do you put the weiht on the line
senkos can be rigged by texas or drop shot or wacky rig but to make senkos more effective is by wacky rig 4 or 5 in dont buy 6 or 7 if u want get big bass
i’m talking about finesse hooks from gamakatsu, similar to the dropshot hooks. i used a 4″ senko with one and lost a 6 lb bass but used a 3″ and landed a 13″ bass
I fish senkos texas rigged in around cover like in the weeds or pads. But in open water around dock I switch to wacky rig. I would never use an EWG hook for a wacky rig, its too big and cost much more than a smaller octapus hook (size 4)

hey roger, i love your videos and i want to know something. i just bought a pack of real senkos in pumpkin with red/black flake would that work wacky rigged for largemouth if i used a gamakatsu wide gap finesse hook size 4?
how do you put the weight on?
ive never drop shoted senkos, bass pro xps drop shot worms work well, i dont like gamakatsu besides thier circle hooks, tie for best circle hook if you ask me

The weight is hollow core pencil lead. Just cut the amount you like and place line inside hollowcore andsmash down with pliers. If you start to hang in the rocks cut someweight off. The pencil lead pulls off well if you get hung up.
