Who has the money for a boat?! We don’t, and thats why we fish on the shore. We head out to Lake Herman near Benicia, Ca for some Largemouth fishing. THis is a low population lake, so catch and release is recommended. Dennis hooks up on a nice little largemouth and we go in search for his mother.

Thanks! Yeah I was just there this morning. My girlfriend and I walked around the path to the left, past the overflow and at the cliff there. No major fall bite yet, but this spring I pulled out some hogs from Herman.
Hopefully will show some more fish in our next Herman video!

LOL what a great video. I have caught six to eight pound fish casting parallel to the rip rap to the left of where you’re standing at the start of the video. Top water in the fall. Wait, it’s fall now ! When the water in the lake is high, try the shallow area to your right when you are facing the lake from the parking lot. And don’t be lazy
walk around to the point across from the shallows too. There are fish out there.
