my grandpa and I cuaght this huge 14lbs blue catfish on a bank line. we used raw shrimp as bait. it was caught in the platte river in missouri. we also caught several 4 lbs channels, 3 flatheads. one was 1bs, 8 lbs and 5 lbs flatheads.

not trying to flame but i mean for a blue cat thats small
thats a little blue compared to the fish on platte in missouri
in the platte river in denver, colorado
run trot lines with crawdads in the muddy mo and you’ll get big blues all summer. nice blue, but its not no 14 lbs.

VERY hard to catch that size of catfish in ontario, you have to travel to lake huron or superior, even then its a hit or miss. the warmer states catfish is excellent, lucky you!
