The First Catfishing of 2007 from the Big Bass Bounty Hunter

Just finally got out to the water after a long winter and few buddys and I were at LaSalle Lake after a long period of rain that made it impossible to fish anywhere else. Shad not out yet and used chicken liver to catch a smaller little channel cat and filleted it out after listening to Jeffs mentor and teacher of fishing Wayne Wakey of Pontiac..thought I would try it for using the fillet to catch some bigger ones and it worked.. 2 channels that were about 22 incheslong ..good enough for eating but not braggging..lol

Nice cats in both, but the Cape Fear is a fine catfish river that never lets me down this time of year.
