  • smileyj206:

    6’6″ to 7′ spinning rod
8lb Bass Pro XPS fluoro is best…

  • exrider12003:

Wow. my crankbaits are on YouTube. Thanks for the kind words James

  • TheFishinguy101:

well they feed on juvenile trout so is that like babies?haha i caught a smallie yesterday on the shad rap brown trout color i didnt expect it??

  • smileyj206:

Perch color is real good up there. Rainbow Trout is a great bait, the 6″ huddleston will catch you more fish, the 6-8 inch rapalas in rainbow trout should be good too. Remember, match the size of our lure to the size of the trout.

pretty cool you started fishing in oregon and washington all of my videos are of me fishing in oregon at my home lakes for some big largemouth and smallmouth

  • smileyj206:

Lucky Craft makes a few. RC series. RC1.5 and 2.5 are great.

SKT series is great as well.

They also have the new Pointer 95 that doesn’t have rattles and the Wooden Sammy that doesn’t have rattles.

No rattles is great when fish are spooked easily. The rattles scare them a lot…this is a big SoCal secret w/ all the fish pressure here… Good luck.

  • SPOEDEE:

Do you know of any silent crank baits. Or a crank bait that does not rattle as much?

  • flipsk828:

what would type of rod would b better 4 a tube? Baitcast or Spinning Rod?

  • smileyj206:

Hey there. In WA, high quality trout swimbaits work real well like the 6″ huddleston, triple trout, and top shelf swimbait 5″ magnum. Not a lot of people throw these yet up there. Jerkbaits, drop shot, jigs, senkos work real good up there too. PM me if you want some more details partner. Good luck.
