Bass fishing tournaments in Connecticut?

Hey guys, im looking for a tournament to fish in (2009). I love to bass fish either with my dad or one of my good friends. Fishing in a tournament would be cool. If any of you have any ideas or tournaments, please inform me. Thanks alot.

There seem to be a couple of tournaments in your area that have bass fishing as a main event. The ABA alone has about 6 tournaments scheduled for different areas. A few are Pauchaug Pond, Candlewood Lake. However, I’m sure you need to be a member of ABA to be able to fish one or more of these tournaments.
Another way to do it is to start your own fishing club. We just got one off the ground last year at my home town and this year we plan on joining up with ESPN/BASS and hopefully get one of our members to a big tournament. all you have to do is go to their web sites and see what the rules are for starting your own Bass Fishing Club.
