Nate do some digging there has to be a local bass club in your area.
You can sign up for Tournaments as a NON-Boater.
Be sure and always offer to share some part of the expenses for the day, even if you do not catch anything….it is not cheap to run a rig these days. If you do this, and treat the other persons boat as if it was your own, you will not get a bad reputation. Co-anglers (non-boater) are one of the big reasons I stopped doing T’s
Experience, and winning T’s will get you the sponsors.
Stay after your education and go to college, these days a lot of colleges have bass clubs who compete in tournaments, within the NCAA.
Stay in school, modern day bass tournaments are not for the uneducated ! You need to be smart with an education in marketing, public relations, and the like to make it….PLUS a lot of time on the water and hard work.
You will also need a back up job before you can depend of fishing as your only income.
Does not sound nice but true facts, it is not easy as people think.

Bassresources.com might be of some help. There are also amature tournaments that have some hefty prizes. Good luck to you.

I’m 15 and I’ve been fishing in Jr. pro B.A.S.S. circuit tournaments for a little over 4 yrs now but have been fishing ever since i could crawl and it takes a lot of time and determination to fish in the big tournaments. Sponsors take a lot of time to I’ve been busy with them in sporting shows, seminars and this week i finally get a little bit of a break and next week i have to get back to sport shows but they do help they sometimes provide tackle, pay tournament fees and maybe even for gas or a discount. Ask around at tackle shops and places out that sort and see if they know of any clubs. As far as sponsors go you have to get your name out there but all my sponsors require me to have the good grades (honor roll) in school and they require me to go around and give demonstrations and all sorts of conservation projects. When I first started fishing tournaments i too didn’t have a boat until last year but i had to save my money up and get it i have a 12ft game fisher that I’m currently putting decks on and i also have to save my money up to get a motor for it. also they might have some weekend tournaments at a local lake that you can fish in to get a feeling of how the tournament situation gets planned out. Currently i am Secretary and Tournament Director in my club but i am also Tournament Director for our adult club to. I wish you the best of luck and hope you find a club suitable to you.
