Nothing’s better than fishing with friends

I caught my first rainbow trout of the year that was about 14 inches and was promptly released. It wasn’t stocked this spring as the colors on this fish were very dark. I was glad he was only hooked on the lip and the hook was quickly removed. It was my second trip to Russell/Sawmill Pond and I was accompanied by J.J. Silverberg, who was on school vacation.
