Any fishermen out there? What types of lures are good for catching big bass and other big fish from the shore?
I just got a Rebel Minnow, and it was the best $4 i ever spent. Ive had it for 4 days and ive caught over 25 fish with it. Ive caught a lot of sunfish and a few good sized bass. The other day i was fishing and my phone rang. I answered it, and while i was talking i dipped the minnow into the water. The second i did that a fish went after it. This lure is like a fish magnet! But anyway, what other lures attract fish? Be specific with names of lures please.

i like using powerbait and texas rigging it..and just letting the current taking it..catch a lot doing that..and never get snags.
I always have good luck with a Rat-L-Trap. I have caught quite a few pike and bass on Rat-L-Traps. Spinner baits also work very well for bass.
Wacky Worms in the watermelon color for catching bass
My “go-to” lure is a Rapala jointed in the red crawfish pattern. Since I bought this lure I have caught more 10 pounders and over than I ever have including a 13 lb 9 oz MONSTER
I prefer 2 lures for BIG BASS. The jig and pig or jig and craw both are proven time and time again as BIG BASS catchers. Also try any lures that are larger than you’d usually use. Try a Heddon Zara Spook. Use the walk the dog method on choppy water for great results! Almost anything that’s too big for a smaller bass will attract the BIG BOYS. Try any soft plastic worms that are 10 inches or more. I like YUM worms due to the fact that they hold together very well. I have caught several bass on 1 single worm, as opposed to say a senko that when used can usually only land 1 bass, maybe 2 if your lucky. You can use a larger size original floater by Rapala to get larger bass also. It is more knowing where the big boys are hiding while paying attention to conditions such as water temp, clarity, air temp, your retrieval speed, your techniques, etc… You can catch a lunker on a finesse jig, or an 8 inch crankbait. You have to learn how bass think before you can understand how they feed. Here is a good site you can use to learn about bass and their habits alittle more. You can learn all sorts of good stuff at this site. I know for sure that it helped me a great deal. Keep your line tight and you bait wet, BASS Fisherman
The best bass lure I have ever fished is the devils horse made by smithwick. The best pike lure is either a Rat-l-Trap in the green bass color or a johnsons silver minnow with a yellow/black grub trailer. I too fish from shore or dock and these work great for me…. good luck
Depends on the water and time of year. Rat-L-Traps usually work good, especially in lurky water. Nuetral bouyant Rapalas. Pig-n-jig. Heck, I’ve had luck on just about anything at one time or another.
