Has anyone used trigger x soft plastic bass lures?

I saw them for $2.00 a pack at Wal-mart. Yea, I know they couldn’t be that great if Wal-mart has them on sale. Any info would be appreciated.

I’m sure somebody can shed some light on them for you, unfortunately I haven’t used them.

Keep in mind though, there is nothing wrong with Walmart’s baits. They carry the same stuff as Bass Pro or somewhere similar would carry. The good thing about places like Walmart is the fact that they have many “knock off” baits which are just as reliable and productive as the name brand baits. Getting baits at Walmart will save you a ton of money with time. I don’t always reccomend buying their lures due to cheaper hooks and eyes and what not but for plastics you will be fine.

I have used them…they didn’t work to bad, but of course it was when they were on their bed so…not really sure about just pitching it under a dock or something

Thats a good deal. I have used the walleye baits. I have been really successful with the yellow and green colored twister tails that they make. Fishing those with a 1/4 oz. jig I have caught several good sized northern pike, a handful of walleyes, and some big smallmouth bass here on the upper Mississippi right behind my dorm building. I think they are a pretty solid line of plastics, but the fish’s response to them might depend on your region. I would say for $2, you can’t go wrong. The fact that they are so new on the market might be a way to present your local fish with something they haven’t seen yet. Good luck.

I love Trigger X. I have been catching alot of smallmouth on the flappin’ craws and a swim jig with a flap dad trailer. Wal-mart is crazy to have them that cheap. They are like $6 at the Gander Mt. near me. I would take them up on that deal anyday. Trigger X lizards also work great Texas-rigged. I hope this helps. Good Luck Fishin’!!
