What are some good lures for bass(Stripers,Largemouth)?

I live in Northern California.I go fishing for stripers and largemouths in places such as the San Joaquin River, O’Neill Forebay, and the Delta-Mendota Canal. What are some good lures for these species?
P.S. I fish from shore

Strike king spinner baits, Heddon torpedos, plastic night crawlers, and of course the old favorite of many- the rattle trap. Ive heard numerous stories of stripers engulfing the rattle trap. Also (where its legal) live bait, small sunnies, creek chubs, big golden shiners all work excellent. You might also want to try the Storm Wild Eye Swim Shad, just remember, these come in many different sizes, the bigger the bait, the bigger the fish. Good Luck, Have fun!

In flowing river systems, I’d use spinnerbaits for LM and white bucktail jigs for stripers.

I’d go with a spinnerbait. Color will depend on the water clarity. If you’re in a river, it’s probably best to go with something a little more flashy, some yellow/green combo. Spinners are noisy and easy to see and they’re simple to use. If something’s biting, they’ll go for it. Good luck.

my friend has caught bass with a cricket that was orange and green and he goes in shallow water because they like that but that is for large and small mouth but for rock bass use worm and go along the sides of the dock
