Most people be live you need 20 lb test while fishing for Large Mouth bass. I have caught 6-7 lb on 6-8 lb test. I use a size 10 eagle claw fishing hook when live bait fishing. I use 6-8 lb test of any brand because it really does not matter if the line has bells and whistles.If you want to sink little bit I use a small split shot weight. That will produce fish.
