What lures are best for catching walleyes, large mouth bass and small mouth bass?

I go shopping for lures and when I get to the store, there’s like MILLIONS of lures to choose from. How do I know which ones are for walleye, and which ones are for bass? I mostly fish freshwater and I always do shore fishing. What lures (specific names) would best be used for watching walleyes, large mouths and small mouth bass?
sorry, I meant to say which lures are best used for CATCHING walleyes, large mouths and small mouth bass. (not ‘watching’) LOL.

i’ve never caught walleyes before, but as far as bass goes, the best lures are top-water bait. like a fake water bug lure with a three hook. just skip it across the top of the water and you should at least catch a few:)

There is nothing like a Jitterbug and Hulapopper. Those two are the classic bass lures. Also try a worm with a spinner, that way it stays relatively close to the top of the water.

EDIT: I find black Jitterbugs are the best, but the greenish ones work great too!

Go to the store and ask the employees. If it is a good store like Gander Mountain the people should be knowledgeable. If it’s a bigger store like Cabelas or Bass Pro the people should be even more knowledgeable. Also look at the isles. I know that at my local gander mountain the isles are labeled for the species the stuff in that isle is for.

Also read the boxes for lures you are considering, they may mention the specific species they are designed for.

  • Backwater Charlie:

Get you some Rapala Shad Raps. They catch all 3 species equally well.

  • BOBBER:

I would try a jig and a minnow or a leech or gulp.
