What lures do you recommend for bass fishing and how am I supposed to use them?
The pond where I fish the bass goes for live crayfish and maybe bluegills.

If you are fishing a pond that you see a lot of crawfish and you know that bass are feeding on them, that is the lure you should use.
Now if you can see the craw in the pond, you will know what color they are. Try to match their color and size as close as possible in your lure selection.
Same goes if you know that if they are feeding on blue gills. Use lures that match their color and size.
If you are not for sure that these are what the bass are feeding on, you have to do some experimenting. Start off with spinners and see what happens and then maybe some plastics, like worms or baitfish imitators.
Once you find a lure pattern that works, of course go with it. You may need to modify or change up the color, size and presentation of that lure once you have out fished it.
Have fun, it sounds like you have a good situation to catch some bass.
Alright dont use live bait!!!
Crankbaits, and rattle traps do good. if you can put a soft bait on and drop shot rig it, works great and learn to tie a palomer knot!!! Remember to use a color visible enough for your water.
For Clear water use- Blues, whites, yellows, greens, black
For Muddy water- Red, yellow, orange, blacks
Hope this helps!!!
If they are feeding heavily on crayfish, try crayfish colored crankbaits, jigs and soft-craws. They are even crankbaits made to look exactly like crayfish, they sell them everywhere.
