What lures for bass should i use on the Susquehanna?

Ok so I am going to be taking a fishing trip this summer in the middle of june. I am going to the Susquehana(down in dauphin county) to fish for bass. I was hoping someone out there who has fished this river previously could tell me what works well. I had a couple crank baits, rapala makes, in mind but i wanna know specifically what lure works well, not just general terms like spoons and jigs.

  • Theo:

white or white/chartreuse spinnerbaits with tandem gold blades

1/2-ounce rattletraps in chrome and firetiger patterns

suspending jerkbaits – blue/chrome/ orange and fire-tiger patterns

if there is a big mayfly hatch going on (usually in july, but can come early) use buzzbaits and jitterbugs.

I have really good success with Heddon Tiny torpedo’s and char-trues with black speck tube baits
