    1. What I use to catch large mouth bass are crawfish. I would also be fishing by the shore right at the drop off though.

  • GoldenFeather:

#1 & 5 in the spring..shallow crank bait, spinner bait, worm
#2 & 3 post spawn…top water, floating worm, craw imitation
#3 & 4 Summer time..spinner bait, buzz bait, worm, tube
#4 I would never pass up with #5 right behind it….same as above.
#6 if it is a deep hole or the deepest part of the pond, in the summer or winter…as big a worm as you can get away with
#5 winter time with 3 days of sun shine and slight rise in temp each day…small jig & trailer, tube, fensse worm, maybe a small crank bait.

Hope that helps you with some way to fish your pond, as a general rule what I gave you will work all over the country.

  • SOS:

#4 Stumps or trees would be my favorite structure to fish in any body of water. In a farm pond I would probably use a worm for the finicky fish, but if the fish are hitting anything I would probably use a 5-6″ floating rapala or smithwick minnow type.
