  • Stradivarius:

    100% no.

Large mouth bass dont make good pets for a number of reasons, one being the ammount of waste they produce. Most canister filters are not even equipt to handle the large waste particles that this fish produces.

Size is also a concern, large mouth basses can get around 15-16 inches and get very large, a 35 is way to small for a large mouth.

Also they dont make great pets, the get dieases like hole in head dieases all of the time due to poor water quality.

They are best in the wild. I had a 12 inch large mouth and a 5 inch large mouth and it was one of the worest decisions i could of made in my fish career.
