Anglers from throughout the Midwest yesterday descended on the inland lakes and waterways of the Wolf River Region in search of those prized walleye, northern pike, bluegill, crappies and largemouth bass as Wisconsin’s 2010 fishing season opened with high expectations for a very good catch.
