help with what tyoe of bait i should use?


ok im largemouth bass fishing at a pond in the OBX
i havent seen any other small fish but i have seen tadpoles
there isnt any lilypads so i cant use a plastic frog
i tried using a worm but it just isnt working great
any other suggestions
some people say there are carp in the pond but im not sure
also there are tons of turtles in it

    Just because there aren’t Lilly pads doesn’t mean you cant you a frog. Why don’t you try one f Doug Hannons plastic snakes.

    still try the plastic frog, don’t worry about the lack of lilly pads. and just cuz you don’t see small fish doesn’t mean they’re not in there. try out some other lures or try live minnows. try a spinnerbait, crankbait, or jerkbait and see what you pull out. trial and error is what it takes to figure ponds out.
