Bass like to hangout near structure or shrubs. Look for a part of the lake where there is tall grass growing out of the water. They usually go for lures (especially scented ones) that you can buy at any store.

What type of bait should I use?…Whatever you usually use. I like crankbaits, spinnerbaits, worming, etc.

What areas in the lakae?…Find cover and structure if you can. If there is none of either, they can be anywhere.

What time of day?…Anytime if the day. Morning and evening are good for topwater action, though you can catch topwater all day if the conditions are right.

well if the water is dark than use a dark bait. Find any structure you can and fish it with like a spinnerbait or a jig or something good. Fish when there is a good over cast. dont try to catch fish where they can see you or they wont bite. Good luck!

You are asking alot. There are many differant varieties of lures. Each differant lure requires a differant method on how you fish it. Basically it is which method you prefer. I prefer to catch largemouth bass by top water fishing. I use a white Moss Mouse and skip across the moss that grows on the water in the summer time. It is also pretty effective skipping it through lilly pads. This type of fishing gives you a RUSH like no other.

there are many different conditions that could affect bass fishing. your question is very broad but here are a few general tips that may help you out.

according to the season. if it is hot out fish alog the banks where that are alot of shade. use a good size buzz bait or lipped crank with rattles. if it is really hot the fish will not be that active so the crank with rattles or a buzz will agravate the bass making them attack out of frustration rather than them being active and hungary.

if the weather is cooler fish farther ff the bank fishing the top of the water with a plug or worm. the fish are alittle more active when it is cooler trying to keep their body temps up

if you see any structure in the water like a island, fallen tree, trees growning streight out of the water. fish around them. fish are just like people. they want a home too and they make a home around structures like that.

hope that helps out good lock and good fishin

Use a plastic worm, fish it slow near the shore and weeds, but rig it so the weeds dont catch on it. Throw it near sumps, trees, or anything else that fish can hide under. If you fish in the middle of a lake with no structure, you will catch nothing. Fish shallow 3-5 feet max, near the shore with an unweighted plastic worm. Disreguard what everyone else says
