How do largemouth bass get into golf course water hazards? And is it a environment sustainable for them?
I have heard of anglers catching them in golf courses. Additionally, are there any locations in Southern California, Los Angeles area that I can find a pond that is okay to fish in?

Echo Park
The largest bass I ever caught was in an Orlando, Florida golf course. They also have gators and snakes though. They must be planted fish. They found a shark in land-locked Austria last week. A chef tossed it in as a joke.
there are any a number of ways bass can appear in these ponds.
the most popular would be either to be introduced as finger-lings or have someone moving a catch from another place live into it.
many places have a water feed that is drawn through a natural source [river or stream] where the fish would make there way in naturally. in any case, not all of these ponds will sustain bass, as
there must be adequate fertilization to stimulate a food chain. the
water usually must have a reasonable pH level for
a fertile ground to occur. if not, bass will either starve or stunt to
to a very small size. good fishing to you.
Not just bass, but other fish as well.
It happens when ducks, geese, and other water fowl wade through the nests, getting the fertilized fish eggs on their feet. They fly to the golf course pond, and deposit the eggs to grow.
