Look for a Shimano reel and a medium action carbon graphite rod. String it with 10 lb braided spiderwire, and buy some purple, green , and black plastic worms and hooks along with some white buzz baits and crank baits for Bass. For trout get Mepps spinners ( #1 gold ) and an assortment of 2-3 inch long jointed rapalus.
