Is there any way to attract largemouth bass over time?
Ive heard you can leave red meat in the water, and it will attract bass.
Is this true? If not, is there anyway to attract bass into a certain area over time?

Create a habitat they like. That means cover and clean water.
From the article titled “Feed Fish and Maximize Your Next Fishing Trip” at MoultrieFeeders.com (see source) feeding fish using an Automatic Fish Feeder (http://www.moultriefeeders.com/catalog.aspx?catid=fishfeeders) serves a two-fold purpose. First, it helps to supplement the diets of the fish in a pond or lake, while allowing them to put on more fish flesh. Or in other words, feeding fish helps them grow larger, quicker. Secondly, feeding fish is a good way to stimulate the feeding activity of the fish in a given area, and thereby improving the chances of the anglers catching fish there.
knock a couple trees into the water or sink bundles of old christmas trees.
sink an old boat. they like hiding places to ambush prey.
don’t throw meat into the water. it’s going to spoil and they won’t hang around it. catfish, maybe.
a bale of hay will attract and grow small organisms that will in turn attract bait fish the bass will feed on.
if you are in the process of building a pond, rock piles, trees and perhaps an old car body minus engine, transmission and differential would all be good hiding places.
If you had some way to attract bait fish, the bass would be sure to come. But it would also be attractive to all other predatory fish.In my area there are several lakes that have a clean bottom. People will sink tree tops and brush piles in the lake to attract bait fish. This in turn attracts loads of crappie, with an occasional bass thrown in. But it doesn’t seem to work as well on the bass as it does the crappie. But it could be caused by the crappie out numbering the bass by at least 50 to one. And they simply hit the lures and bait first.
