  • BabaBright:

Topwater – Spro frog, Rage Tail frogs, Heddon Spook or LC Sammy, Black Jitterbug
Hardbaits – Rapala X Rap, Jointed Rapla floating minnow, Manns Baby 1 Minus, Sebile Magic Swimmer
Softbaits – Senkos, Rage Tail Anaconda’s, Zoom Trick Worm, Zoom Fluke
Jigs – skirted jigs in black, green and browns with Rage Tail Chunk, Yum Chunks or Zoom speed craws as trailers
Spinners/spinnerbaits – Terminator spinnerbait in Chartreuse, Mepps Black Furies, pick other

Go with a tackle bag as opposed to a box. I’d go with a medium heavy rod, probably 6’6″ in length going with one rod, for line I’d use Suffix or Power Pro braid – 20lb or 30lb, should be as thin as 8lb or 10lb mono line.

I really like using the plastic grubs with the long tails on a jig head. Sometimes I add a spinner for extra flash. I always make sure to have plenty of those in my box. Also stock up on tube baits & rubber worms texas rigged. Grab a few spinner baits also. Those are the things I catch the most fish on.
