Midlands area fishing report

Largemouth Bass: Good to very good. Stanley Gunter of the Greenwood Bassmasters reports that most of the fish are coming off the beds – the biggest part of the spawn is done. The best bite right now seems to be fishing for post-spawn fish by running the banks and casting topwaters, especially around sea walls. Floating worms, Pop-Rs, and floating jerkbaits are all producing.
