What is a bait that can catch 1 pound largemouth’s?

I want a bait that can catch 1 pound bass around logs, i think they feed on bluegill. Any one know any good baits?

    before l answer,
why are you fishing for babies? a one pound fish is barely legal. to play catch and release? wouldn’t you rather release a five pounder?
okay. l got that out of my system.
try some lipless crankbaits or spinnerbaits and bump them into the log during your retrieve.
    OR
plastic worms. a 6″ with a 2/0 hook in cinnamon with red and green flake is a very good choice. will give the impression of a crayfish or some small baitfish.
plastics work year round, all over the U.S.
lately l’ve been using a yamamoto “fat ika” on a 4/0 or 5/0 EWG hook. these things are the shizzle! four bass on them today. up to 3lb. and a good solid 4lb’r on a jig.
    oh. same color.
