What is the best artificial bait for a largemouth bass?

Just wondering……

Also what is the best live bait for brim fishing?
I mean I know the best is artificial worms but I’m looking for an alternate to the worms, I’m sorry I failed to mention that earlier

  • Devyn:

I think a better question would be “Why can’t people use the damn search bar”. It is there for a reason.

    http://answers.yahoo.com/search/search_result;_ylt=AqNSZZC9EMrgZ6_ueb.FxJoeDX1G;_ylv=3?p=best+bass+bait

By the way, there is no “best” bait, it is all a matter of preference.

  • dumdum:

The best bass lure is whatever they are hitting on. That will vary from lake to lake, time of year, water conditions, water temperature, and will sometimes change from day to day, and preferred lure colors will change unexpectedly also.If 20 people were asked this question you might get 20 different answers. I can’t give you an answer that 19 other people will agree with. The closest answer you may get to that question is to go to a tackle shop that’s specialty is fishing lures and fishing equipment and ask them what lure and color would be the best on lake “X’. They would be in a position to tell you and sell you the lure.
The best bream bait would be crickets or redworms. Good luck!

  • The Wormist:

if those other nineteen people say plastic worms, l’ll agree with them. about 90% of my bass have come on soft plastics with a small topwater popper being second. plastics work year round under about any condition. day or night. multiple rigging and fishing styles. my “go-to” lure.

earthworms, mealworms for those brim. only my personal opinion.

  • wana bigger bike:

idk aboout brim but i love all kinds of rubber tube jigs for bass

  • bassfisher:

rubber worms thats what I usually catch them on

  • Grand Master Basser:

    Plastic worms.

  • Backwater Charlie:

ROTFLMAO @ Devyn i think i pissed my pants!

As every one SHOULD know, the most popular and effective lure is the plastic worm.

An earthworm is the best bait.

  • Chris S:

    CRAWFISH

Always works for me, never lets me down because this is a natural Largemouth prey
