Big nightcrawlers for largemouth bass, land’em in tons! A smaller worm for bluegill and walleye. Not sure about Gar though.
Worms, leeches and hellgrammites.
blue gills i use redworms, the rest can and will be caught with minnows, the fun part is you wont know which one you got at first, which i think adds to the excitement.
bluegill are retarded…small worm on a jig or anything. Largemouth bass will eat any live bait…plastic worms are probably the best overall lure for them followed by the simple spinner bait. Walleye are deep and will hit yozuris at night casting or you could troll a bottom bouncer with a worm harness or crankbait behind it. Gar would prefer small live minnows of any type.
try some texas rigger or carolina rigged soft plastics like worms grubs lizzards etc.You can also use the endless selection of crankbait, spinners, spoons, jigs etc
Nat baits=
Gar- shiners 4-8 inches, cut fish
Bluegill- red wrigglers worms
LM bass- crawfish, shad
Walleye- trolled shiners
Lures
Gar- Lambo Lure Spinner, or 3/8 in. rope (yep, it catches em)
Bluegill- crappie lures under 2inch
LM bass- spinnerbaits and plastics
walleye- trolled spoons
