Here are my favorite colors- silver with a blue back, silver with a black back, coppertone like a penny, chartreuse, and solid silver.

Well I try to keep it simple and use shad color baits during the summer, like a citrus, gizzard, or chartreuse shad. In the late winter or early spring I like fire tiger and a red craw fish type bait. If you are fishing around grass I like to rip a bait through the grass, many times this will trigger a bite.

Bleeding shad is my favorite color! I caught my personal best Largemouth off of it (8.6 lbe’r). They work year long, in all fishing conditions. Both 1/4 and 1/2 oz. work.

    Happy fishing.

chrome or chrome and something generally but also crayfish colors if fishing shallow or rip-rap.
if the water is really stained and murky, go to a larger size in fire tiger.
