i like yellow. ive caught plenty off of those. but try using deep diving crank baits with good color. bass love em. try em out. u’ll be really satisfied

l like the ones that look like plastic worms about 6″ long rigged texas style on a 2/0 hook.

if you can come across some old safety pin style roostertails in black&white with a chrome blade or yellow/gold, either beg, borrow or steal them. not made anymore l don’t believe. one of the best bass spinners ever and won’t twist your line. and shannon twin spins. hot, hot, hot ! also old.

perhaps they do, chuck. but l haven’t seen them in my local walmart or my BPS catalog. l’ll keep looking. but l still have at least a dozen in my old “umco double……”

Bassplayer, they still make those safety spin rooster tails labeled under the name “Super Rooster Tail”, i believe. I don’t normally use Rooster Tails for bass but, yellow & gray are two other colors you should try out. 1/8 or 1/4 oz. would be your best bet for bass.

    chartreuse. It’s been proven.

I’ve had great success with the rainbow trout colors, featuring green and pink.
