What is the best lure to use in spring for largemouth bass?

I’ve tried to use the minnow rap and the x-rap, but havn’t been the most sucessful person on the planet. I live in minnesota if that helps at all. I just caught a 7lb. largemouth yesterday on the x-rap, should i stay with that?

Just fish for walleye and you’ll catch bass all the time LOL works for me.
Seriously though try a jig tipped with live bait.

There are many baits and srtificial lures, if your confident in your choice stick with it.
Slower presentations like soft plastics and jigs are more versatile and more commonly sucessful.
X-raps are very versatile lures that are excelent year-round…Big spinnerbaits are also very good, make sure that the spinnerbait has colorado blades, so that the spinnebait move slowly while making lots of vibration.. But The best lure for me would be a 6-7 inch zoom lizard on a carolina rig.. U see bass hate lizards to begin with, when the see them they eat them.. (by the way lizards are egg eaters) just imagine when a big bass is protecting his precious eggs and a lizard comes wobbling by.. Theres just no way hes going to let that lizard go anywhere, except in his gut.. hahah lol hope this helps
