what is the best way to catch largemouth bass?
im going on my 1st fishing trip and i need to know what bait to use, where to fish(shallow, deep, or inbetween) whether to put my bait on the surface or at the bottom of the lake and when the best time to fish is.

early morning is the best time and just try a plastic worm on a hook its simple and works
well the best time to fish is early morning and at night.
Early morning the bass will bite on topwater lures like pop-rs and buzzbaits.
At night use worms with the color junebug.(junebug works well at night)
And during the day use Watermelon red colored worms. Drag the worms really slow across the bottom of where your at.
When the suns out the bass go deep. so buy some deep divers.
And crankbaits work too
In the early mornings fish are alot more active, try using a plastic night crawler ( rigged texas style, with no weight), cast it along the banks, weeds, logs, rocks. Just cast it out and let it sink all by its self. Watch your line!!! If your line starts moving in any direction wait for about 3 – 4seconds, and then set the hook. Some of the biggest bass i have caught was with a plastic night crawler. During mid-day the fish go deeper to get away from the sun and heat. Look for fish to be hideing in shady areas, and weeds. In the evening, do the same thing as you would in the morning. Good luck.
