baits – Crawdads and Minnows are known as bass killers since bass really cannot resist them. Worms work well but you’ll catch 10 sunnies before you catch 1 nice bass. well these work well for me, hope that helped…good luck fishing
crank baits and spinner rubber worms color is the key
I love Zoom Super Flukes.
There has not been a time that I have gone fishing for bass and not caught one on them.
A topwater popper is what I have been using , In clear water it will bring bass up from 10 + feet deep the sound of it gets their attention .
I am going out the door in a few minutes to try and catch a few . I caught 12 yesterday on a Heddon Pop ~N~ Image jr. the biggest was around 5 pounds. Its a clear lake and that lure works well for activly feeding bass.
Live bait is also good
for clear water i like to use natural color lures. a jointed rapala in silver, a Texas rigged black worm, or white spinner bait works great. For live bait i like using a medium sized shiner minnow under a bobber, or free lining a nice big leopard frog.
If it is sunny out try using a bright willow leaf spinner bait. Also look up spinner bait tuning. Trimming skirts is a good idea, gives better action and attracts more fish.
