What’s the best or better hooks sizes (or numbers) to use on small/largemouth bass?

That really depends on the size of the bait or lure you are using. There is no best hook all around for either species. The best hook sizes would be anywhere from 1/0 – 5/0, again, depending on your lure or bait.

Let the bait dictate the hook size. Smallmouth seem to take smaller baits so I go with 1/0-2/0. Largemouth 1/0-5/0.
