Where does the largemouth bass be in a small 7 acre, 10 ft deep pond in the winter. ?

Does the bass be in the middle of the pond or around in different places. The air temperature is around 45 degrees.

in the center. the bottom soil there is darker and therefor heats up faster. I wouldnt recommedn that u fish tho. the bite shuts down in winter and it would be better to do tackle maintenance

They go into Mud underground or in grass if there are any not just middle of water but there is area in pool you can not see but has called “dipping pool” they digg pool in hole cover up with stone, limb, mud, what ever is available to keep them warm though year long I had pool like that we builded a “night view telescope” underwater type in the water and watched them bass, crappie, catfish, turtle ect.. all of them did that I tought it was neat..
