Best for largemouth is probably the jitterbug. I prefer the jointed jitterbug. Another good one, for large mouth is the spro frog.
Wow, there is a lot to choose from. I like the Abrogast Hula Popper, and the Abrogast Jitterbug. Both are great for large or smallmouth bass. You can also try top-water frogs, other poppers, and surface lures. The Hula Popper and Jitterbug is pretty cheap, at 4-6 bucks. And frogs cost anywhere from 5-14 bucks. If you need anything else just send me an e-mail, i will be glad to help.
Hope i helped ya out.
I like an old bait called the Crippled Killer made by the Phillips bait co. I like the 1000 model( the largest) .I work it in short rips and they cannot leave it alone.
Check out Cabela’s they have them now.
I still like the older ones though.
Good luck.
trust me on this one us a hula popper in a light color it works for both!
I use hula-poppers for them both.
i like to use a pencil popper for largemouth and a creek chub knucklehead for smallmouth
I would have to say Gary Yammamato worms and jitterbug.
Poppers seem to be effective, but it depends on the water depth. crank baits work in 9-15 ft. Medium size tounge. Dark colors seem to give me success.
Imakatsu Trairao wakes up fish very effectively.
Storm Chugbug works fine as well, you just got to work it right.
AAHHH Ye old ” best lure for catching Bass question, again.
My son and I use a Torpedo. This seems to work best.We like the yellow and green or yellow and orange colors. I also use jitterbugs and by Lehr Jensen. You can find the Torpedo and Jitterbug at local stores such as Walmart and Bass Pro Shop carries the Woodchopper. Good luck!
