They were hitting crankbaits in crawfish and perch patterns and spinnerbaits as well. Had to downsize the baits in order to get them to hit and put trailer hooks on the spinnerbaits. Thank you for watching the show.

You have to use a lot of finesse techniques for spokesmodels. 6lb florocarbon and a tiny hook baited with a gold color credit card in order to get the good ones to bite. LOL

The Olentangy isnt connected to a place like Lake Erie where there are large spawning runs. Go down River and there are two more dams. This dam supports a good fishery because its deep and the River is to shallow to hold any significant populations of gamefish without the dams. They removed a few upstream and the results are a disaster. They are trying to use money paid as a fine for dumping sewage into the River to remove the dam instead of cleaning it up. great vids, im a recent subscriber. its my understanding that the div of wildlife wants to remove as many dams as possible. they want the rivers to revert back to as natural a flow as possible. a dam was removed in seneca county on the sandusky river, water levels dropped about 8 feet ! there will be another one removed on that same river in fremont next year when the new res is built. this is good and bad. it will let the walleye spawn further up stream but will ruin some fishing above the dam
