@racooninabag There is a good chance that smallmouth will exist in that lake.
The structure should hold fish. There is the possibility of laregemouths as well.

i have a question: i’m up in conneticut and i have a public beach on a lake, and there is a little structure out deeper, do you think there re any smallies in the area, if not, what do you think i could find, and how to get it,

@Trikker2 Glad you enjoyed the video. The best time to fish from shore on lake Erie is right at opening bass season.
The first 2 weeks will have bass still hugging the shore lines in Erie – in fact, if you have a local public beach around, you would most likely be able to hook into some bass right in that area – you can even wade out a bit.

@MoreSnakes As we say, “trebles are trouble” – Treble hooks can be very effective for catching fish, but a bit more difficult to remove than single hooks.

@fishingwithkmarine A Sheephead is also known as a fresh water drum. They are also plentiful in salt water as well.
