Distrubution of bass in the nation and world?
What 2 states are smallmouth not in in the US? I hear Florida was one but I dunno the other. If they are in Florida let me know.
Next how world wide are largemouth bass? if its easier what countries have Largemouth bass not been introduced to?

According to this website some smallmouth populations live in Florida streams. It talks about it about 15 paragraphs down. http://www.bassfishingflorida.com/tactics.htm
I think that the largemouth bass has been introduce to most Mexico, Central America, and South America.
Florida and Louisiana are apparently free of smallmouth bass.
I believe that LM bass are exclusive to North America, South Africa and Japan although there are possibly other transplants I am unaware of.
I figure you already have looked at the provided sources cited (and several others) as you have a great knowledge of these fish. I am sure I offered you nothing you hadn’t already known.
Good fishin’ Brandon!
Looks like Eric found some smallies in FL waters…cool.
Not real sure about the SM.
LM are in all states EXCEPT; Alaska.
There are bass fishing clubs in Europe, S. Africa, and Japan, so there must be bass there as well.
The last couple of years there has been world Bass Championships that are invitations to world wide teams.
Last year it was held in Spain…If I remember correctly but do know it was in Europe. First year it was held in the USA.
As far as LM in S. America don’t know how they could survive there, things like Peacock Bass, and other members of the Cichlid family would get them. Sense the LM is a member of the Sunfish family, they would end up being prey in S. America
