Fishing for smallmouth bass in the Schuylkill River
This is a longer version of my other video, different song that I put together on the keyboard, lower quality video however in order to make it fit YouTube.

hey pal thanks for the response i always thought local bait shops where pulling my chain.
Norristown area
hey i was wondering where you caught that muskie what part of the schuylkill
Wish I still had that canoe, had to sell for financial reasons, it’s all kayaks now. If you get creative with a tripod or Ram mount on your canoe, you won’t need a hat cam, though it would add another perspective…
Nice smallys, i like that flat back canoe setup. I fish from a canoe myself in lakes and rivers. Theres nothing like stealth fishing! I want to get a hat cam so i can take vids of my fishing adventures. I got a couple vids on here, but its hard to fish and film with a regular digital camera.
Sorry for the delayed response. I’ll try to help you. I’ve got Videowave 9. When you get done your production in the storyline view, there should be an icon at the top that looks like a movie reel – it is “output as” – I use the AVI setting and then save it to My Videos. That is your source when you’re ready to upload to YouTube. It should work, hope that helped you out.
hey i think you did this video on videowave. If you did, i have a question for you. I did a video on videowave 8 and i can’t put it on youtube. Can you tell me how you did?
I use mostly soft plastics fished deep and slow, and the x-rap is a good hard bait when the fish are active. Muskies like to thrash around when they get close, so you have to be patient and not horse them in. It was quite a good fight. I don’t have my square stern canoe any more, so I’ll be very lucky if I’m able to get another musky from my kayak. Thanks for the comment…
Great fish. I’ve done most my bass fishing in Minnesota but I live off the perkiomen trail now. I’m just curious what kind of baits you are using for those fish. Never saw a tiger musky before, but it looks pretty nice, good fight?
Thanks for the comment – that’s a tiger musky – a little rare in the Schuylkill, but they are there… Look for more stuff this year.
Excellant video Was that a chain pickerel or a pike?? Enjoyed your music too!!
Thank you very much. The Susky is the ultimate but I usually don’t have the time to get there.
Very cool video man… I fish the Susky myself, but the Schuylkill looks awesome. Great video’s!!
I do all the shooting myself. On the canoe I use a tripod, and on the kayak, a “Ram” mount with a camera thread attached. I have to be extra careful in the kayak since my camera is not waterproof!
Fishn is your camera somehow mounted on the boat or do you have someone filming that for you?

The canoe I use is a square stern model made by Sportspal, very similar to the Radisson canoe, but thicker guage metal. It is incredibly stable – I can stand and fish all day if I like… If you do a search for Meyers Sportspal, and Radisson canoes, you’ll see more info. Its also lightweight at just 57 lbs. The one I have is 13’2″ long. Thanks for your comment.

nicely edited and some great smallies.
I noticed you had one of those fishing canoes with the trolling motor mount. I’m curious to no if their made to be more stable than the average canoe?
Great song! Nice smallies! Great footage, love that in the video it leads up to the fishing, an all around good fishing video.
Wow! I know this guy! What a stud! Great visuals (made me a little homesick), great fish (made me a little hungry), great music (made me a little jealous)!
