How can u tell the difference between a male and female smallmouth bass?

A smallmouth’s mouth goes to right around the back of the eye. A largemouth’s mouth goes way past the back of the eye.

indy you’re an idiot. he’s not asking the differences between species.

I find that the males colors are brighters and well umm their rectums are more rounded, females are a bit ovalish.

Males are generally much darker and more distinctly colored than females. And yes, Indy is an idiot.
