Huge largemouth bass wont bite?

There’s this spot i have gone too for the past few days and these huge largemouth bass keep circling in this shallow area. I have used a small pink spinner, a gummy, and a 1.5 in spoon, all these bass do is look at my bait and continue on swimming. In this same spot i am catching smallmouth, rock bass, pirch and crappy. I only want to catch one of these largemouth and they wont bite.

    give him bill hall

grab a box of night crawlers. or just put a bare hook and when a bass comes by snag it (yank the hook through its side) or get a fish spear and spear it. seriously i would go with some night crawlers

    or minnows

I remember when I was a kid my best friend and I ran into this. Now this is not the most sportsman like but we were kids. We got a big hook, like the ones you use for deep sea fishing. Put a few big night-crawlers on the hook, tied it to some bailing twine with a big floater on it. Tossed it out and sat there for a long time. I actually went back to get lunch, and my friend got him. Good old night-crawlers and time, and me going to get peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches for us. Best of luck!

First of all, move out of the sight of the Bass. Bass aren’t at all dumb fish. If they see somebody standing at the bank, chances of them taking a bait get to be pretty slim.

If I were you, I would move several yards from where they are hanging out at and throw a Texas Rigged worm or lizard or a jig. With these baits you can keep the bait at a stand still with a few twitches and trigger a strike from them.

My guess is that they are guarding their nests being this time of year. If so, they should hit about anything within the vicinity of their bed. Again, move out of their site. Also, be sure to release them at this time of year.

use a bright colored top water lure when the sun is bright. this always gets bass to strike when nothing else does. a lot of fish dont bite if they can see you. this is usely the case until you find that right lure

What works best for me when I’m fishing and can’t get fish to bite when I can clearly see them looking at my bait, is I tie on about 2 feet of light fluorocarbon line onto my main line and try a dropshot rig with finesse plastics. I also try a shaky head method with small finesse baits, another route would be an ultra realistic finesse jig. With these rigs keep in mind you want to imitate the bass’ natural forage, I rely almost soley on crawdad imitations with the deep brown colors and a small craw trailer also in deep brown. On the drop shot a worm with natural looking colors is also a plus.
